Family news

I am so excited for my beautiful cousin Laura and her wonderful husband Ryan. My baby cousin who has been more like a sister to me than anything else is expecting triplets!!!
Please read all about it on Laura's Blog.

I am so happy for them and you know this photographer is excited to have 3 new models for my portfolio this fall! As soon as they arrive I will be on a plane to California to meet them. I couldn't be happier for my cousin and her hubby and I wanted to help them spread the word on this beautiful blessing!
Love the ever excited cousin/"Auntie"!

Right Brain or Left Brain?

Happy Monday!I found this today and wanted to share.

I know I'm definitely a Right Brain person what are you...right or left? :)

Left brain: I am the left brain. I am a scientist. A mathematician. I love the familiar. I categorize. I am accurate. Linear. Analytical. Strategic. I am practical. Always in control. A master of words and language. Realistic. I calculate equations and play with numbers. I am order. I am logic. I know exactly who I am.

Right brain: I am the right brain. I am creativity. A free spirit. I am passion. Yearning. Sensuality. I am the sound of roaring laughter. I am taste. The feeling of sand beneath bare feet. I am movement. Vivid colors. I am the urge to paint on an empty canvas. I am boundless imagination. Art. Poetry. I sense. I feel. I am everything I wanted to be.

Day dreaming.....

Jasmine Star - Love your story from Anton Lorimer on Vimeo.

"All of your dreams can come true if you have the courage to pursue them".

This video of Jasmine Star is what inspires me to follow my dreams. I want to be able to tell my story and not have it read to me. I desire so much more out of life and I have to make it mine by fulfilling my dreams!

My mom sent me this the other day and I think it sums up everything that I believe for myself and anyone struggling to follow their dreams.

Everything begins with how you see and feel about yourself. Without self-belief any talent you have is limited. It's impossible to do big things if you feel small inside. Fortune always favors the bold. Your life is determined by how you think. So think big. Expect big things of yourself. Stay away from people who have limited thinking. Stay away from critics. These people are toxic. The do not believe in themselves; therefore have no capacity to believe in you. They only wish to invite you into their limited world.

You must be committed. Commitment is belief in action. There is no middle ground in the animal world; you're either in or out. Nothing is going to stop them from achieving their goal. They will bite, scratch, claw, and fight their way to their destination. There are two kinds of people: Those who fearlessly take action and those who don't want to make mistakes. Animals don't talk. Animals attack. The commitment to their mission drives them. Nothing; not failure, disappointment, or the criticism of others will waver their commitment.

I will believe in myself and commit to setting my dreams in action!

Re-prioritizing!

After driving for an hour today in bumper to bumper traffic to get to a job that leaves much to be desired all of this after what I learned from my meeting on Sat. I'm ready to start selling Medifast using "Take Shape for Life". I'm already using the product and I've lost 10 pounds in a month, Ryan has lost 17 pounds in a month and I have a friend who has lost 96 pounds using this product. It's the only product that I've seen work and work quickly. My friend who dropped 96 pounds started selling it last year and has made $36k. There are countless others that I met that are making tons more. Now that I have seen this first hand I know I can do it too. I want to make money and be able to stay home when I have my future children. I want to work for myself making my own rules. I'm tired of worring about layoffs or what management wants, I'm currently working in 3 different positions but only paid for one. I want more out of my life. I want to live a life that gives me freedom to do what I want. I don't want to live a life that I have to schedule fun events around my days off. I want to be able to travel when I want, sleep in when I want, and I want something that allows me to help others emotionally and to have better health.

So my goal is in a year or less to make enough money selling this that I can get out of debt. After that I will focus on making enough to quit my job. My goal is at least 50k which will make me feel comfortable enough to do that. This also will give me freedom in my schedule to take photos and focus on using my real estate license more. I need all of your help to push me and I need everyone to help promote to the people that you know who need to lose weight or get better control of their health. I should receive the product in a week and after that I will be starting to sell. Wish me luck, I'm ready for a life change!

Here are two more photos of my grandparents that I had to share...

I love this picture of my grandma one because she's in nature but also because she's ready with her camera. She was the first one to show me how to take nature photos. I can remember at a very young age looking at photos of all of her beautiful flowers and plants. She loved how the light would capture them. She inspired me then and she inspires me now to keep pursuing my dream!

This picture is funny to me, my grandpa the worker. I love the classic style and simplicity of this picture. However if you know my grandpa you know one thing he's always working, he's always doing something with his hands and he's usually smiling. He has never been a man that sits still which is something he passed along to his children. It's funny that in this picture he doesn't stop long enough from shining his shoes to smile. However this is the one image that I can really see my dad through his own father.
